What it costs, what is included, and how billing works.
Your first 30 days are free. After that there are two versions: SparcBooks Basic at $25 CAD per month for a complete set of books, and SparcBooks at $49 CAD per month, which adds fund accounting and multi-dimensional reporting. Both of those are the rates on a yearly plan; month-to-month costs about 20% more.
Yes. The advertised rates — $25 CAD per month for Basic and $49 CAD per month for SparcBooks — are for a yearly plan. Paying month-to-month is $29 CAD and $59 CAD respectively, with no commitment.
Canadian organizations are billed in Canadian dollars and US organizations in US dollars, and both are real prices rather than a conversion: SparcBooks Basic is $25 CAD or US$19 per month, and SparcBooks is $49 CAD or US$39 per month, on a yearly plan. You can switch the currency shown anywhere prices appear on this site, using the country selector at the top of the page.
You add a credit card inside SparcBooks when you are ready to continue. Nothing is charged during your 30-day trial, and no card is needed to begin — we do not ask for payment details until your free days are over.
Yes. Standard pricing is $49 CAD per entity, per month. Accounting firms, bookkeeping firms and organizations managing multiple entities may qualify for special volume pricing — contact us to discuss it.
You can move between SparcBooks Basic and SparcBooks, and you can cancel at any time — no penalties, ever.
We accept all major credit cards, added inside SparcBooks when you are ready to continue after your free trial. If your organization needs a different billing arrangement, contact us and we will do our best to accommodate it.
